Violaine Martin, independent documentary photographer
With over 20 years of professional experience, I am a documentary photographer based in Geneva and accredited at the United Nations. I document diplomatic life, international conferences, and public events with a discreet and attentive approach. I studied Fine Arts in Annecy and photography in Vevey, which gave me both a strong artistic foundation and a precise, thoughtful way of working with images. Through my assignments, I aim to create honest, sensitive visual narratives that reflect the people, places, and issues I photograph.
